Overseas Careers
There are many English-speaking schools overseas operating with U.S. curriculums, international student bodies and international faculties. With the exception of those schools subsidized by the U.S. Government or other primary sources, these overseas schools are largely financed with student tuition and exist to serve businessmen, diplomats and other English-speaking people stationed abroad. In those non-U.S. government schools, most of the students are U.S. citizens and the rest are English-speaking, host nation or other international students.
The opportunity to broaden your horizons and sample the cultures and Old World charm of other countries can be yours as an educator overseas. Additionally, there are opportunities to work in school systems run by other governments. Those opportunities exist for U.S. citizens in English-speaking countries and are especially good, in non-English speaking countries, for those fluent in the appropriate language.
As we build our databases, we are inviting international school administrators to post their vacancies on this web site.
